Rate limits

Free tier intended for personal and small applications. A higher tier with an API key for production use, with the limit published.

Terms

Attribution required for every use. No modification of Qur'anic text or hadith translations. No use in a product that claims to issue fatwas automatically.

Ecosystem

Widgets for other Islamic websites: ayah of the day, prayer times, hadith of the day and a Qur'an player, each rendering with its source visible.

Planned, not deployed.
This page documents the intended API surface. No endpoint on this page is live. Before publishing an API that returns religious text, decide the source editions you will serve, how you will version a correction, and how a downstream consumer will see that a hadith grading was revised.
